Paid dinner that came with the stay was fantastic. More so if you stayed 2 nights to enjoy grilled wagyu on the 2nd night. The house pets were lovely and if you enjoy domestic pets this is surely a small little paradise for you. Surroundings~wise Lamp’s design revolves around a central courtyard garden. It’s beautiful and relatively tranquil, perfect for a quiet getaway. Lastly, staff are all great with foreigners. I think many of the staff and foreigners themselves and seem to have little issues communicating in English. All were friendly and really helpful. There’s a Lawson right beside the property and perfect for stocking your drinks and snacks. All-in-all, great to come back again.

Easy to walk there from the train station and to other main attractions. Quiet but wonder if it is because I went during an off peak season. Loved the cosy compact well landscaped surroundings. Staff were friendly. Having the property’s pets around really made it special. I like that the onsen baths were private and that there is an app to check availability. The dinner was good but do note if you want a Kaiseki dinner, they don’t serve it here. When they found it was my birthday they offered me a nice slice of cake during dinner, so sweet of them. During check out they offered a parting gift of Japanese snacks which left a great impression.

The property is just a 5 min walk from the train station/bus terminal. There is a Lawsons right next to the property so it is very convenient to pick up snacks or quick bites. If you arrive early before the stipulated check-in hours, there is a designated spot in the reception area to deposit luggage and complimentary coffee/tea is also available. There are 5 onsens on the property and there is a useful QR code link to check the availability of the onsens at any point in time. The room and the facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and are able to converse in English.

We loved the variety of onsens (and the provided robes and traditional shoes). Also loved the fact that we could borrow bicycles to cycle around the area for free! It was a nice way to explore the area. The food was also super delicious 🤤 When we checked out we were able to keep our bags at the reception so we could explore the area during the day without carrying around all our bags which really made it a good check out experience! Of course we also loved the cats and dog on the premises <3

I love the location is great. Off from the main walking street for a bit and there are convenient store around. The room is quite spacious and the bed is comfortable. It was early autumn and the weather is so nice. I was staying for only 1 night so I used only one outdoor onsen. It was so relaxing, Love it :-) The cats are awesome. I can just hang around with the bigger one on the garden forever, so peaceful.
